Welcome to ProGen Football Club – Where Dreams Take Shape!
Progen Football Club is positioned in the Greater Accra Region which is the largest population growth region in Ghana and has the support of the Regional Football Association(RFA) and the Ghana Football Association.
Our Journey and Achievements:
Progen Coaches have been training young aspiring footballers as well as providing football training services to under-privileged youth from all the country since 2010.
Football is the fastest growing sport in the world. It has kept young Ghanaian players off the streets and also provided a living for them and their families. Recently, the youth has been deprived of proper facilities, structures and training methodology which has affected the grassroots of the sport in the country. In order to meet the demands of the elite clubs in major leagues, we at Progen are committed to training, developing and guiding the youth on a career path on and off the field.
Progen Football Club was founded in 2015 and is known for it’s dedication to the development of young players through its after school Football Development Program.
The club has won numerous of local and international trophies with it’s youth players. Notable among these are the Gothia Cup, Norway Cup and the Paris World Youth Cup in Sweden, Norway and France respectively. The club also organizes football activities such as Football clinics, summer camps, corporate football leagues and local tournaments to help promote the game.
The Football community will see the Club as a center of excellence in the delivery of the youth player development for a better training experience

THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM
The football program at Progen Football Club is divided into stages that helps us better develop our players to meet the international standard.
FOUNDATION
At this stage of development, our focus is on the introduction to the fundamentals of the game, technical and tactical potentials of all player positions.
We aim to help players understand their “TRUE POTENTIAL” that they can be better. Our goal is to help the player focus on building his foundation, understanding and enjoyment of the player position.
INTERMEDIATE
The focus at this stage is to progress players into the advance technical, tactical, physical developmental potential aspects of the player to play their dedicated roles.
Our coaches will help with the transition from field player to a full time dedicated role. Players begin to transition to an increase in intensity and commitment level to develop their role skills.
PRO
In the Pro level, we are devoted to refining the technical proficiency, tactical awareness, physical abilities and the psychological approach of the player.
There is an increase in commitment, intensity and focus on player performance to help players reach their full potential.
FOCUS STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
COMMUNITY:
• Develop an after school training program for registered members in the sport context
• Establish a Progen schools annual one day knockout competition
• Provide school holiday football programs (summer camps, local and international tournaments, etc.)
• Develop a school clinics program to promote the game of football
• Promote “Football for All” programs in the communities
• Participate in community events to promote football
• Fully engage the schools in the communities to maximize the football experience for all
DEVELOPMENT:
• To operate club wide programs which provide the coaching and development opportunities to young
• players to position them to transition into elite clubs
• To promote female football programs to help develop their football skills and position them for future representative football opportunities
• To provide a bridging program which allows young players to move between community and elite football at various stages of their development
• To provide the player development and education opportunities at club level to increase player participation and skills level
